Announcing the Launch of DFW's Exciting New Talk Shows and DTelevision!

ADDISON, TEXAS (February 8, 2013) – Provocative. Edgy. Real. Mornings in North Texas are about to get a lot more interesting. In partnership with D Magazine, KTXD-TV will launch D: The Broadcast on Monday, February 18th at 9 a.m. followed by the debut of D Livingat 10am.

D: The Broadcast is a fresh, personality driven show focusing on topics that will inform and entertain. But most of all, this is a show that will get people talking. Delivered with candor, humor, and authenticity, our four top-notch hosts (Courtney Kerr, Lisa Pineiro, Suzie Humphreys, and Pat Smith) will be covering issues that most affect our audience. Talking beauty, parenting or relationships one moment and gun control the next, the women of D: The Broadcast will have viewers connecting with each of them in a unique way, and wondering what they'll say or do next! These lively personalities are as diverse as the topics they'll be covering. Uncensored, they'll share their own insights and opinions on daily topics and invite viewers to do the same via an impressive social media forum.

"We are very excited about our new relationship with D Magazine, and the addition of D: The Broadcast and D-Living only extends our commitment to be a truly local television station in the Dallas-Fort Worth market," said Phil Hurley, COO of London Broadcasting.

D Living, hosted by Kimberly Schlegel Whitman and Hilary Kennedy, will continue to bring you the best 'Big D' has to offer for your home, your lifestyle, and local entertainment. From do-it-yourself projects to makeovers for your life and your home, you never know what great idea you might get from our pool of great experts.

“We want D: The Broadcast and D Living to resonate with North Texas women in a way that no other local programs do. Our goal is to stay current and informative, but do it in a way that is unique to the D Magazine brand,” says Executive Producer, Stuart Boslow.

Now, meet our hosts!

With more than 20 years of television news broadcasting, Lisa Pineiro brings a journalistic quality to the show. She'll be introducing timely topics and posing provocative questions to her co-hosts and to the viewing audience, running interference with the ladies sitting around the table with her. As a mother of four boys, she's used to it! You may recognize Lisa from her previous time on CBS11 News. She lives in Dallas where she can be seen at SMU football games cheering for her oldest son, #55.

Wife, mother and philanthropist, Pat Smith adds an inspirational point of view. While an impressive television career and a high profile marriage to football great Emmitt Smith has made her no stranger to the spotlight, Pat has chosen to use her celebrity to make a real difference in the lives of women all over the world. But don't be misled by her soft voice and calm demeanor... with five kids, a thriving career and a busy household, this lady knows how to hold her own and she's not afraid to share her opinions and experiences!

You know her from the reality show “Most Eligible Dallas” and the upcoming spinoff “Courtney Loves Dallas” on the Bravo network. Now, meet Courtney Kerr as the bubbly fashionista. Courtney offers a fresh, young take on daily topics. She weighs in on dating, fashion, pop culture and current events with an authenticity and easy laughter that makes it hard not to love her. Being a Texas girl through and through, Courtney serves up a healthy dose of opinions all wrapped up in Southern charm.

Singing a lively rendition of “Oklahoma” one minute and dispensing the sort of advice that only your mother has ever had the nerve to give you the next, Suzie Humphreys is a woman worth knowing...and many in the DFW area do. With an impressive background in local radio broadcasting and performing, Suzie spends much of her time now giving motivational presentations. Her no-nonsense style and quick wit will have viewers all at once scratching their heads and holding their stomachs from laughter. Suzie isn't one to let the other ladies off the hook when faced with a controversial topic, but she'll be the first one to lighten the mood when something gets too heavy.

Hilary Kennedy is a well rounded TV host with roots deep in Texas. Hilary is a lover of all things style and entertainment. She has been hosting TV shows, blogging, and producing content on how to construct a lovely lifestyle. She has been seen in millions of homes as the face of the US Youth Soccer show, she is a former host of “Smart Tips” on Fine Living Network, and has also hosted “The Bite Network”, and “Hotel Guide.

Kimberly Schlegel Whitman has taken her original and clever take on parties and created an entrepreneurial empire. She is an author of six books on entertaining, has regular appearances on the “Today Show” and had a daily radio segment on Dallas’ Gene & Julie morning show on 103.7-Lite-FM. She has a passion for entertaining and was also a featured event planner on the Style Network’s hit show “Whose Wedding is it Anyway?”. She is a graduate of SMU and brings her knowledge of Texas style to life on Texas Living. She has a talent for making the ordinary-Extraordinary!
